Greg Williams, Vice President, Media, joined Backbone Media in 2005 after managing the advertising team at Climbing magazine and co-founding the Philadelphia Rock Gym. At Backbone, Greg has worn many hats on various teams and has been instrumental in establishing and growing both the media buying and planning and organic social media channels of Backbone’s business. Backbone’s media work spans all channels and includes award winning digital campaigns and national TV brand campaigns. Greg is an all-around outdoor enthusiast and lives in Carbondale with his family — Carolyn, Sage and Luke.

Christine Elsa Carter, PR Director, joined Backbone in 2016 and works across multiple Backbone accounts — including YETI, TINCUP Whiskey and Solo Stove — providing strategic guidance, industry insights and tactical support to internal Backbone, and external brand teams. She also plays an integral leadership role in the Denver office, helping with hiring, current staffing and mentorship. With 14+ years of marketing and PR experience, Christine previously worked for Amelie Company, an advertising agency here in Denver, helped to promote community mental health services in south metro Denver, and started her career in publishing in New York City. Christine graduated from Columbia University, where she was a varsity track and field athlete, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Comparative Literature with concentrations in Environmental Biology and Creative Writing. She currently lives in Denver with her adventure sidekick Burton Ernie.
